Internship
Internships with NOCDC
A great way to learn and grow!
New Orleans Citizen Diplomacy Council offers internships to undergrad and graduate students majoring in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Non-Profit Management or related fields. Interns must be available to work in the office at least 2-3 days per week, for 4 hours per day; a one-semester commitment is preferred. College credit may be arranged in coordination with the appropriate department head.
Responsibilities of an intern include assisting with administrative and programming tasks and researching and contacting available community resources for the international visitors' professional local itineraries, in addition to general office duties.
Interns should have excellent communication, people, and writing skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. For interns wanting to maximize their cross-cultural experience, ownership of a car is necessary for meeting and accompanying international visitors to professional appointments.
For more information on becoming an intern, contact our office by phone (504) 529-1509 or email info@nocdc.com.
