The New Orleans Citizen Diplomacy Council offers the same business networking to the private sector that it has provided to government sponsored international visitors for over thirty years.
Whether you are a local company with short-term international guests or employees that have recently transferred from abroad, an international scholar, or a foreign professional seeking business contacts in the United States, we can tailor a program to fit your needs.
Our council offers the following services:
- Comprehensive professional programs designed to meet your professional objectives. Programs may include business appointments, site visits, round-table discussions, and informal breakfast/ luncheon meetings at businesses, local music, universities, government offices or cultural institutions.
- Cultural activities that introduce you to south Louisiana's unique cultural heritage, the arts and music, and other local attractions.
- Local “ambassador” to meet you upon arrival at your hotel, review your program, and answer any of your questions.
- Personal sightseeing tours led by qualified residents of the greater New Orleans area.
- Hotel accommodations and ground transportation arrangements.

When we develop your program, you will receive a “welcome packet” containing a detailed itinerary of your visit, maps, and information about local attractions.
New Orleans Citizen Diplomacy Council charges a nominal fee for these services. Costs are determined on a daily basis for professional itineraries for both individuals and groups, and per activity for all other arrangements. For more information, please contact:
